Daniel Gil

Daniel Gil
"I TOLD GOD BEFORE I EVER RAN A SINGLE COURSE THAT HOWEVER BIG MY INFLUENCE BECAME, I WOULD USE IT TO HONOR HIM AND PROMOTE A KINGDOM LIFESTYLE."

BIOGRAPHY
Daniel Gil is a professional ninja athlete, a 7x national finalist and season 12 champion on American Ninja Warrior. Daniel is a motivational speaker and worship leader. He is also a classically trained vocalist and former dancer with Magnify Dance Company. He has coached ninja for almost a decade to students in the Houston area where he is from. Due to the notoriety of the show Daniel began his public speaking career in 2016. He has spoken at
corporate events, schools, churches, summer camps and ninja gyms across the country.

He spends his days training, traveling, coaching, competing, and speaking. He is passionate about the things that he loves to do and hopes to inspire others to steward their talents and pursue their dreams.

MISSION

  • To exemplify a life of loving God, loving people and impacting the world for good.
  • To encourage others to never give up, get back up and face whatever obstacles may come their way as they pursue their dreams.
  • To motivate others to strengthen their lives through health, fitness, nutrition & faith.

He grew up in the church. He was involved in various outreaches as a child where he grew in compassion for people and a heart to share the gospel. He gave his heart to the Lord at a young age but it wasn't until his high school years that he gave his entire life to the Lord and took ownership of his daily walk through discipleship and community. After high school, Daniel attended a two year Ministry school were he obtained an Associates Degree in Applied Ministerial Studies. While in ministry school, Daniel traveled the world for missions work in Bulgaria, Rome, Japan, Malaysia, and Honduras and became more passionate for the things of God. Committed to ministry from that point on, he thought that he would become a full-time pastor, worship leader, or missionary overseas in order to build the Kingdom through those means. But God had another path for him to take.

Through miraculous means God opened a door for Daniel to begin competing on American Ninja Warrior and he immediately became one of the top athletes. Applying focus, discipline and a joy for the unexpected path God began leading him on, he trained hard to be the best athlete he could be in order to shine brightly and point the focus to Jesus. Win or lose, he has seen God move powerfully through the show each season, and witnessed firsthand the impact that it has had on viewers and their faith. For the last seven years he has used the platform the show has provided as a means of
ministry through public speaking, coaching, and guest appearances. He uses his talents, abilities and powerful testimonies to promote the Kingdom of God, fulfill the great commission and teach practically through scripture how to overcome daily obstacles in life, whether physical, mental, or spiritual.

This year promises to be amazing!
